Spring service · Bucks & Montgomery County
Pool openings done right, so the first swim isn't a fight.
The way your pool gets opened sets the tone for the whole summer. Our Pool Opening Bundle takes it from winter cover to clear, balanced water in one organized visit.
Step by step
How a Big Splash opening works
No mystery, no surprises. Here's what we do when we open your pool for the season.
-
Cover off & cleaned
We remove the winter cover, clean it, and fold it away so it's ready to store dry.
-
Reassemble the pool
Ladders, rails, skimmer baskets, return fittings and gauges go back where they belong.
-
Start the system
We reconnect and fire up the pump, filter and heater, and check for leaks or freeze damage.
-
Fill & circulate
Top the water to the right level and get it moving so the chemistry can take hold.
-
Test & balance
A full water test, then we balance chlorine, pH and alkalinity for safe, clear water.
-
Walk you through it
We flag anything that needs watching and leave you a pool that's ready to enjoy.

Instead of nickel-and-diming each step, the bundle wraps the whole opening into one clear service:

- Reassembly of ladders, rails, baskets and fittings
- Equipment reconnection and start-up
- System run and water top-off
- Full water test and chemical balancing
Add a season plan
Many homeowners pair the opening with weekly or bi-weekly service so the pool stays clear all summer with nothing left on your list.

When to book your opening
The sweet spot is a few weeks before you actually want to swim — usually April into May around here. Opening early lets the chemistry settle, catches any equipment issues while there's still time to fix them, and gets you on the schedule before the spring rush fills up.
Booked solid weekends are the norm once the weather turns warm, so the earlier you reach out, the better your pick of dates.
Good to know
Pool opening questions, answered
How long does an opening take?
Most standard residential openings are a single visit. Water won't be crystal clear the instant we leave — it needs the system to run and the chemistry to settle — but it'll be balanced and on its way.
Do you open both in-ground and above-ground pools?
We work on residential pools across Bucks and Montgomery Counties.
Can you open a pool you didn't close?
Yes. We're happy to open a pool we didn't winterize — we'll just take a careful look at the equipment and cover as we go, and let you know if anything needs attention.
What if something's broken when you open it?
Spring is when winter damage shows up. If we find a cracked fitting, a tired pump or a leak, we'll tell you straight, explain the options, and — because we handle repairs too — usually fix it without you chasing another company.
Ready to open for the season?
Send your pool details or just call. We'll get you a date and a clear quote for the opening — and a season plan if you want one.
